Hosted by popular local newscasters, the segments highlight each child's special qualities and interests. These children are considered hard to place, as they may be older, in sibling groups or have special needs.

A recent Wednesday's Child LA segment features a 15-year old with a passion for sports and a strong desire to be part of a permanent family. Our starting line up to help this teen: the Freddie Mac Foundation's President and CEO Ralph Boyd, baseball player Torii Hunter of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and Wednesday's Child LA Fox news anchor Christine Devine.
